Waterfall pictures are very nice to see on a Summer's day! They look very refreshing, calming  and nice! You can imagine little birds flying and chirping amidst the water and singing happy tunes to each other. May we all have nice images of waterfalls to think about, amidst all that is happening in our lives. Little birds are cared for. So much more we are cared for too!

The word Springtime brings with it nice images of Spring flowers. Flowers are so colourful! They come in millions and millions of different colour shades! There doesn't seem to be a coloured flower that has the exactly same colour shade as the other. It is just like each person who lives in
this world. Everyone is uniquely special and brings their own very special touch of specialness to the lives of the people that they see or talk to or in contact with each day.  You all perfume the world of the people you live with , and the fragrance is so very lovely. Thankyou for being you!

I hope that everyone has a nice week ahead. Sending a colourful rainbow to everyone! The yellow represents the warmth of a sunny smile, the blue represents bluebells that are ringing out a cheery tune, violet represents a fragile violet flower that brings much beauty in its delicateness, green to represent soft grass for you to walk down life's pathway when you are feeling tired and they all come together as a rainbow, which needs sunshine and rain for it to appear. In the midst of tears, the comfort of the sunshine of friends can produce a rainbow in your heart.

Mum was wearing a purple coloured top the other day, and Mum and Dad were having conversation as to what exactly the name of the colour was. They eventually decided that it was mulberry. Dad then told me about when he was young,  and he and his family used to pick blackberries to eat. His Mum would make custard and Dad would like to mix the blackberries with the custard, and the resulting colour would be
...mulberry!  Each day, our lives are made of lots of little moments. Sometimes sad moments, other times happy moments, sometimes a bit concerned moments, often pain and ache moments and other times excited moments.  They all combine to make up our day and life as we walk along our daily pathway. They are mixed together to create special colours inside us, just like a beautiful rainbow, and the love we have for others and that they have for us makes the colours glisten very lovely.

At this time of the year, some people are enjoying making Christmas puddings, so as the pudding can then rest and mature for a little while until Christmas Day. There are lots of ingredients that can  go into Christmas puddings! There is flour, eggs, sultanas, dates, cherries, mixed peel, currants, raisins, butter, mixed spices, orange juice, apple, and other ingredients too!
Our life is a bit like a Christmas pudding. Our days are made up of a variety different things that happen through the day. Sometimes they are happy experiences, others are sadder times, there are painy and achey times, and other times funny times that make us giggle!  All these experiences are stirred together in our lives with a big mixing spoon every day. The result are very nice and special people, who each of you are!  A Christmas pudding is tasty to eat at Christmas time, but each of you brings sooo much specialness to lives of everyone that you see each day!

The weather is starting to warm up, so that is great! I am wondering if we will have a warm Summertime this year? I think that we will! Summer must be nearly because the international season of cricket here in Australia starts next week! Go the Aussies! It is a Twenty Twenty cricket match, so that will be fun to watch on the tv! Those matches are quite fast paced! When I wrote those words "twenty twenty" I thought of the saying "20/20 vision" and then wondered what it actually meant! It means that when a person is standing twenty feet away from an object, they see the same as a " normal" person would see. It is another name for seeing the same sight as an average
person would see. Perhaps more importantly than seeing with our physical eyes, is to see into people's hearts and to be aware of how they are feeling. May we all use our inner eyes to see, love and care for each other!

It is Cup week this week. I hope that horses are allowed to eat many apples this week! There are lots of different varieties of apples to choose from! There are Royal Gala, Jonathan, Red and Golden Delicious, Jazz, Fuji, Sundowner, Granny Smith, Pink Lady... and more! I wonder what type horses like eating?! It is great that we don't need to belong to the royal family to eat royal gala
apples, or we don't need to be a grandma to eat a Granny Smith! It might be a bit hard to do jazz dancing whilst munching a jazz apple, and sundowner  apples can be eaten any time of the day, not just when the sun is setting. To me, apples seem to one of the most basic and everyday  types of fruit. You can always buy apples all year, they can just be chopped up easily, they are in most fruit salads, and they are just a great fruit to eat! It is a bit like life. It is in the everyday moments that life has specialness. It is moments we spend with family and friends, through laughter and tears. It is the the "everyday" occurrence of the sun rising and setting each and every day... but what a beautiful sight they can be! May we take delight in the little everyday moments that together make up our days and our lives!

My lovely Mum was enjoying having her breakfast the other morning, and was reading the newspaper. She was having some slices of tomato on her toast... then the next thing I knew was that the toast had leapt off the plate, the tomato slices had decided to jump onto the floor, and of course the butter on the toast wanted to investigate the floor not look up in the air! My Mum's nice breakfast wasn't so nice now! It wasn't the bestest start to the day!
As each day starts, we may wonder what that day will hold. It may contain sadness, moments of joyfulness, times of happy laughter, or times of not-so-nice pain. Whatever the day holds, may we always be encouraged, strengthened and comforted by knowing that we have loved ones who care about us and that we love and care about. Love carries us through each day!

Christmas trees look lovely with their twinkling lights on them, and decorated with colourful tinsel! The star or Angel on the top of trees add a very nice touch to the tree too. When we look at decorated trees, may
each light, each decoration and strand of tinsel be a special reminder of our loved ones that we share our lives with now or have gone before us to await our Heavenly reunion. Christmas signifies love... the hugely tremendously,  gigantic, love of our Lord Jesus and Heavenly Father, as well as our beautiful loved and loving family and friends. May the branches of the trees be like outstretched arms ready to give out hugs!

I saw a quote/picture the other day, and it made me think about the love that we have for our loved ones and their love for us. The quote was ( and there was a picture of roses with it ) :
"I give your 11 roses and 1 fabric one. I will keep loving you until the last one dies"

Love is eternal. The fabric rose will never die. Our love for our loved ones is forever and ever. Sometimes we have to say "see you soon" and
wave goodbye to our beautiful loved ones just for a little while when they pass away, but we know that we will be rejoicing with them again. Tears can come to our eyes, which is so very natural, and we are comforted by the sunshine thoughts of our reunion which mixes with the tears and brings about a lovely rainbow.

We are almost midway through Summer now. The sun shines brightly most days. It can feel quite hot when the temperatures reach the 30's and sometimes into the 40's! Even though it is very warm at that time,
friendships provide heart warmth of longer and laster and better for our inside. Friendships also  bring cooling refreshment to our inner side too. The cooling breeze is much appreciated after a very warm day. The love of friendships bring ongoing comfort too.  Friendships are to treasure forever and ever!

It is Australia Day next Monday! It is great to celebrate being an Aussie and living in this great country. There are so many different landscapes throughout Australia! The weather in all the different states each day are never  the same! It could be raining, or sunshine, or cloudy in one  state and it will not be the same in another!  There could be a drought in one state, bushfires in another  and a flood in another state! And we all call Australia our home. From the rising of a lovely Aussie sunrise to the beautiful closure of the day experienced through the colours of a
pinkish/orangeish/yellow  Aussie sunset, may you know that you are loved and people sooo much care about you. You are not alone. There are people thinking about you, caring how you are feeling and sending hug thoughts to you! They may not see you physically but they are sending special thoughts to you!

This is the last week of January. When we think about it, both a very warm month as well as very cold months ( June and July) both start with the letter "J". Joy starts with that letter too. Sometimes when pain is in our lives, whether it  is through physical pain or we are sad through events in our lives, life can feel a bit hard. Joy is still in our lives. Love enfolds our heart. Love and joy is stronger than pain. They mix with the pain and cause it turn into a beautiful colourful picture that explodes into delicate flower petals to cushion our insides. Sending lots of special thoughts to everyone! Lots of hugs too!

It is nice how backyard flowers like geraniums have a scent on them that if you hold them, their fragrance comes off onto your hands. When I think of geraniums, I think of home and family. Geraniums keep growing and giving out beauty in our front and back gardens all over Australia. It is in the little every day things that we enjoy life and treasure special
everyday moments. The love that our family and friends have for us and that we have for them remains like the fragrance of geranium petals on our inner self. We have love petals inside, floating over our hearts!

It is Valentine's Day next Sunday! Loving, caring, helping  and supporting  each other is an every day moment by moment, part of life. It is a bit like breathing! Love encourages us, gives us strength when we feel very
weak and fragile, brings warmth to our hearts, and calms us with peaceful assurance that we are cared for. The greatest love of all is the love that our loving Lord Jesus has for us! May the love we have for others and the love we receive, enwrap us and encircle us as we walk though each day.

It is great when tournaments such as the  ICC World Cricket Cup are being held and there are so many different countries competing in the tournament, at a variety of different cities. There are fans from all over the world attending the matches and millions of people watching it on tv! Every person all around the world laughs, cries, feels happy or sad. Every person has come into the world as a tiny beautiful baby, and one day will
pass away. Every person is sooo very precious! They are loved by others and at the same give out love. Each of you are soo special! We share so much, we feel so much, we miss so much those who have passed away and we rejoice much with every little child that comes into the world. Thankyou for all the beauty that you have brought into the lives of those that have known you throughout the times of your life and that you continue to bring to those around you.

This week is the end of February, and Summer. The summery weather may still  continue on into March though. Seasons come and go, the earth keeps spinning around, the sun rises and the sun sets, and yet in the midst of it, what is happening in our daily lives matter so very much to us. How we are feeling, pain we may be under, joyfulness when things happen in our day that delight us, concerns about our loved ones, sharing laughter and smiles with others... all these little and big things make up our daily lives. May we take the time to caringly support others in all that their daily lives hold. What their days holds matters muchly to them, and so it matters to us too!
