Happy Wintertime to everyone! Though we don't have snow where we live, the pictures of snowflakes look so very pretty! The patterns of the snowflakes look so nice, and the light glistening on them in pictures looks so lovely! It is a bit like life. Our life is a continuing pattern that is being
woven together each day. Every single person has a different snowflake pattern of their lives, all uniquely special, and all so very much lovely! Our " heart lights" shine through the patterns of our lives and are very special to our loved ones and those we are in touch with each day. Thankyou for being a snowflake in the lives of those around you.

As I am typing  this, with the heater on full blast near me and the temperature is in single figures, I am looking out through the side windows and a black bird is having a delightful time splashing away in our birdbath! It must be sooo chilly outdoors! He is enjoying himself though by doing a dance in the birdbath! On the outside of us, sometimes we don't feel that well enough to dance. Pain and tiredness causes "chilliness" in a figurative sense. But...inside our hearts are warm and are dancing away to  a lovely tune that is playing from our heart song! May we all "splash
about" inside just like the black bird did, and in the quietness of our heart listen intently to the music around our soul.

I used to have a pretty top that I wore. It had pictures of roses on the front of it, and had the words : "Wear your smile" written on it! Sometimes we don't feel like smiling. We may be in too much pain , or the tiredness is overwhelming, or we may be missing a loved one, or life is just a little bit too hard to cope with that day. Everyone has days like that. If you are
feeling like that today, I send big, big  hugs to you! <3 Keep these hugs close to your heart! Each hug comes wrapped in rose petals and the petals will gently fall upon your heart and bring a touch of love with each delicate petal. Life is very precious and fragile. You are very, very special
Dad received a letter from the Government the other day, and I don't know why, but it made me laugh inside when I saw the word " mister" written instead of the usual " mr"! I know that one is the longer/shorter version of the other, but it is quite unusual for the longer version to be used nowadays!

Our names are very special to us. When you think of or say a person's name, it carries a lot of memories, feelings, warmth and meaning. We remember loved ones who have passed away as we say there names. We express love as we say the names of those who are present with us now. It is a very joyous occasion the first time a precious little baby is called by his or her name! May we take joy in the specialness of our loved ones' names!

We have lights set up in our kitchen, near Mum and Dad's bedroom  and in the laundry that at night time, if Mum and Dad get up, the light turns on for 30 seconds if they pass by. They are turned off during the day, to save the battery, and also we wouldn't want the lights turning on each time we passed by them throughout the day!

May we never turn off our inner heart lights! May we dance and fly inside, laugh inside, feel sunshine inside, however our physical body is feeling, with its tiredness and pain! May people pass by us, and instead a light, may be give them a smile!

It was very nice the other day in the late afternoon time. The day had been a very greyish clouds, cold  and Wintery day. It seemed quite a darkish lights day. All of a sudden, the sun started to peek out from behind the clouds, and shone through the kitchen window and the sunlight somehow managed to land on my hair right where I was in the lounge room! Dad liked seeing my hair lit up by the sunshine!
Sometimes days are like that. We may be feeling a little bit down, and the day feels a bit grey. Then, all of a sudden, someone smiles at us, or we receive a phone call, or we turn on the TV /radio and hear something that makes us laugh or we look outside and see a flower waving in the air, and just a little thing can add colour to our day and make us feel better about the day! May we bring sunshine into another person's day today and each day!

I don't know why but the other day, I had the words from the children's song : " The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round. The wheels on the bus go round and round, all the day long" All of a sudden I felt a little bit giddy! Life does keep going through each day by day. The Earth keeps rotating around from one side to another and at the same time is orbiting the sun. But... everyone is soooo special! There is
no one just like you! You are very precious to your loved ones! You have a special role to play in each day of your life! Some days you may feel better than other days. Some days may be a bit more not so good than others. All the days together  make up our life journey and experience!

When I was younger, one of the first things that I "cooked"  was a cherry, pineapple and cheese hedgehog dish! It consisted of wrapping an orange in foil, then putting toothpicks in it, and on the toothpicks was placed little cubes of cheese, a pineapple piece and then a cherry at the end of the toothpick! I was sooo excited when I made it! Of course, I had to put on my special kitchen apron when I made it!   It is nice to have special memories of fun times!

In our day to day life, it is better to not be a hedgehog! English hedgehogs look cute, but their spikes are very prickly! Sometimes we may not be having a great day, but each brings with it a new sunrise and a sunset. May we take joy in little special moments through the day. They are like little cherries from the hedgehog meal that I made and they add warmth and colour to however we are feeling that day.

Sometimes thoughts and ways that we are feeling are deeper than words. At those times, tears come to us and express our deep inner feelings. Never, ever stop crying. It is by crying, that healing comes to us inside. Crying helps
us , comforts us, restfully calms us, and it is in  a tear that we can  say things that there are no words for as we cope with our pain, whatever that may be. May we always be ready to lovingly support each other through their tears.

There is just one more week of Winter left, then we can welcome in Springtime! It will be nice! Winter and Spring are seasons. May our days be "seasoned" with smiles that encouraged, "seasoned" with   tissues to
figuratively hand to those who are sad and have tears welling up inside them, " seasoned" with a supply of soft pillows to figuratively give to other who are suffering through physical and mental pain, and be " seasoned" with kind words that are caring and are not restricted to a particular seasonal day.

Springtime has now sprung! Daffodils are appearing, trumpeting joyful tunes. Birds are still finding the early mornings a bit chilly though! I have seen a few of them wearing beanies, scarves, and fluffy slippers as fly through the outdoors air! Birds are soooo creative in how they make their nests! They
haven't been to school to learn how to create nests! There is not a uni course called : " Bachelor of Arts with a major in nest building" ! Yet, when we look at birds  nests, they are sooo intricately made! Life does not depend on school or uni studies or what we know from a course. We are all " students of life"! Caring, comforting, laughing with, crying with each other is what makes up our lives. We build our own birds nest, with each twig a branch of love.

I was thinking about book marks the other day. Bookmarks come in a wide variety of forms, colours, textures  and types. They all are used to mark positions in books that are being read, so that when people return to reading the book, they can recover their place. Each day marks another step on our journey through life. It is very special to travel along the road with our loved ones walking along  beside us. Some of our loved ones that have travelled
along with us on our journey  have left us in a physical sense for a little while. They are just waiting to give us a big hug when they see us again! Each day marks another day where we continue to take steps along our life pathway. It doesn't matter if we have feeble legs or can run a marathon; it is the love of our loved ones both here and those who has passed away   that encourages us each and every day!

We often have very special memories of happy times spent with our loved ones. It is understandable that we can sometimes miss our loved ones who have passed away. When you love someone, the love goes on and on, it never stops, even though we may be physically apart. Sometimes it can lead us to gentle tears, other times it makes us laugh, sometimes we may feel that
when something happens it is our loved ones just saying a little hello to us! May the soft gentle petals of a rose enfold your heart and bring comfort if you are in pain. I send hugs to you ❤️

October is now here! When I think of the word " October" I don't know why, but instantly I think of octopuses! I don't though think of real octopuses; I think instead  of cute ones with happy faces, bright colours  and lots of legs! Our loved ones are a bit like octopus legs. They are the legs that surround us and support, help, love, and encourage us day by day. They are our legs that are
with us as we walk through each day. Octopuses have big eyes. May we also be ever looking with our own eyes to see how our loved ones are feeling, and share their joys, care for them when they are sad or in pain, laughing, crying and most of all loving each other!

I am enjoying Daylight Savings Time with the daylight extending later into  the day. It is nice having longer sunlight and sunshine, and not needing to pull our blinds down as early. It is good though that in the middle of Winter, it is nice then to pull the blinds down early because it is cold and the rooms seem to keep warmer with the blinds pulled down! It is a " win-win" situation for both seasons! The term : " win win" is a different type of word/saying and can
reflect our life situations. When we give a smile, our inside smiles! As we care for others, we are ourselves cared by others  too. When we share with others who are grieving, we find comfort too. May we be joyful with those who rejoicing and are joyful, may we empathise with those who are sad or are  grieving, may we help and bear with those  in pain just as we are ourselves in pain, and through all life may we find encouragement in the little things of life.
I was looking at pictures the other day, and discovered that florists sell  "teardrop bouquets". I has never heard of these before. They are bouquets of flowers in the shape of a tear drop. I send a special teardrop bouquet to anyone who is  feeling tears  inside. Weep when you need to, cry when tears surface, allow the tears to fall upon your face. Tears express inner feelings and are a  healing and helping part of our lives. They calm us, comfort us, and help us to cope with how we are feeling physically and mentally. I also send some flower petals to gently wipe the tears from your face.

The international summer cricket season begins this week. Go the Aussies! Australia is playing New Zealand. At the end of November, the two teams will be playing the first day/night test match!  A pink cricket ball is going to be used. The match is being held in Adelaide. When I think of a pink cricket ball, I think that the colour pink is pretty. Pink  clothing or a pink bedroom always seems pretty to me. But... what is more " lovelier"  are each of you! Each
person has a  beauty inside that is much, much more deeper than how "pretty " they may look on the outside. The beautiful inside of people radiate and bring joy and  comfort and help to your family and friends that you spend time with and those you are in contact with day by day. You are so very, very special!

Whilst we here in Australia are heading into warmer weather and Summertime, other people in the UK and USA will be preparing for colder Wintery weather. The world is made up of millions and billions of people, all experiencing different living situations and varying weather conditions all at the same time. Whilst it is nighttime where we live, it is bright sunny daylight in another part of the world. In the midst of it all, everyone is soooo very
special! Every one has a very special role to play in the world each day. By giving a smile to another person, you have gladdened the heart of that person  for that moment that carries on through the rest of the day. By having a chat with someone, you may never know what you have done to help someone who may have been a little bit down inside or concerned or having a not too day. You are very precious to your loved ones, both to those who remain here and also to those who have passed away.  Sending a hug  to all who needs one today ❤️and another one to keep for another  day ❤️
