Life is like a shopping trolley! We have fruit in the trolley, which is the love of our beautiful loving Lord and of our loved and loving family and friends. We have chocolate biscuits, which is the fun occasions and events that happen at times through our lives. There is a bottle of milk, which is when we learning new things, just like milk helps kids in their growth as they are progressing through childhood. A loaf of bread is in the trolley also! Bread is the ordinary, everyday things that occur in a day, BUT even with these everyday things, they are so often spread thick with butter and jam, which is the little blessings that we enjoy as they pop up though the day, especially if we take the time to look with our heart-eyes and see them. Butter is made from milk and cream. It needs to be beaten and churned to make butter. We sometimes also feel a bit “ battered” in our own lives! Live holds times of pain, weariness, and harder times.
