I send you a heart shaped balloon for you to hold and look at, not just for Valentine's Day but for each day of the year. Instead of this balloon being filled with air, it instead is filled with lots and lots of colourful roses. Yellow roses to send sunshine into your days when life seems a little cloudy or grey. Pink roses to reflect friendships, both old friends and new friends. Friends are true treasures in life. Blue roses are unusual coloured roses and they reflect the unexpected blessings that often appear in our life and that can be so very thankful for. White roses which represent that the most important part of life is the love we have for and give to our loved and loving family and friends. Each of these roses are very delicate and gentle and they have beautiful scent. May this heart shaped balloon of roses perfumed your days! .
Ribbons are decorative items. Sometimes they are placed around bunches of  flowers. Flowers are given in a variety of different circumstances. They are given at happy times such as birthdays, and  at painful and sore times as Get well flowers. They express caring thoughts   when given when a loved one passes away, and they are an expression of love given between husband and wife at a wedding anniversary.
Colourful ribbons may be tied around all these flowers. Just as ribbons are tied around these flowers, may love ties bind us together through all sorts of occasions too. Supporting, caring, laughing, crying, chatting together, may pretty and colourful ribbons link us all together as we walk through each day in our life's journey.

As each day arrives, we don't know what it will hold. It may contain times of physical pain, mixed with the beautiful loving touches of a caring word from a family member or friend, or a smile or looking at something that brings back special memories of something that happened. Our days are
rainbows! There are tinges of blue, yellow, green, violet, red, white and brown. Life is like the shape of a rainbow. Hugs from our loved ones whether they can be given physically or are even more special when sent in words, are like arches that wrap tightly around us! Sending hugely big hugs to each of you!

It is Easter week. It is a special week, with a combination of a mixture of sadness and joy. With each sunrise and sunset, comes the reminder of Easter, that our loving Lord Jesus has risen! I have often woken up on Easter Sunday morning or lay awake in bed in the early hours of the
Easter Sunday morning, and it is as if the birds outside my windows sense the joyous news of the Resurrection, because they are chirping so very loudly! From this little sparrow to you all , I just want to chirp out that I hope you have a lovely Easter time, encouraged by all the hope that Easter brings!

I hope that you are adjusting okay to the hour's difference since Daylight Savings ended. An hour can make a big difference! It takes a few days usually for our bodies to adjust. In our day by day living, each hour can bring new things. Sometimes we may feel a little bit sad,
another hour we feel joy, another hour may contain a bit more pain or an easing of pain. Sometimes we need to just take an hour by hour through the day. Through each hour of our lives, the love of our family  and friends encourages, comforts and gives us strength, in whatever that hour or day holds. Sending gentle hugs to you for the hours when you need them.

Mr.Men and Little Miss characters are so cute!  I  can remember when I was little that my first Mr. Men book that I owned was "Mr. Snow" ! Mum printed my name on the inside cover and I used to take it to school! I always felt sorry for Mr. Bump because he was always covered in bandages because he kept falling over!  Mr. Sneeze had funny spiky hair! Mr. Funny had a happy and funny hat! Little Miss Sunshine always looked so sunny and cheery with her yellow face and hair!  !

I wonder what character describes each of us? ! It is more important what we are inside than what we look like on the outside. Our inner self  affects each day of our lives, and adds to the richness of our life and our day to day being with others. You all bring much specialness to those whom you are with day by day. Thankyou for being you, a very special Mr, Mrs or Miss!

Love is eternal! It lives on through pain, death, glad times, sadness tiredness...forever and ever! Like the tomatoes in the picture, we love our loved ones from "My head to my toes"! Love gives us strength when we
don't have it, it comforts us when we need it, and encourages us each and every day.

Life is like an Anzac biscuit. It is made up of plain flour, butter, golden syrup, oats and coconut. Sometimes our days may feel a little bit "plain" flour. The weather may look a little bit coldish and bleak outside as we look through the windows. But on those days, the simple warmth of a smile that we receive from someone or a little " hello" seems to shine
even more and brighten our day! Golden syrup, is for sweet times in our lives. It is sooo special to be able to celebrate happy occasions with our loved family and friends. Butter is very yellow sunny. It is nice how a touch of sunshine can add warmth to the day. A caring word brings encouragement to our day too. You need to melt butter in the Anzac biscuits  recipe. Our life is a melting mixture of glad, sad, happy, tired and sometimes painful days. Oats and coconut are other items in the recipe. They give the distinctive texture of Anzacs. What we go through in our lives, shapes us too! It gives texture to who we are. You are all very special people!

It is Mother's Day next Sunday! Mothers are such special, precious and lovely ladies! I just wanted to say here that I love my Mum very much! We don't know what each day will hold. May we always tell our loved ones
that we love them. To love someone and to be loved by another is the central part of what life is. To those people whose Mum has  passed away, I send big, big hugs to you for Mothers Day.

The other morning, there was a very beautiful pinkish skies sunrise! I could see it through a slit between the curtains that are on the side windows in our loungeroom. Mum and Dad hadn't pulled the curtains back at the time, but the beauty of the skies seemed to be insistently
wanting me to see it anyway as I could enjoy the pinkiness of it through the crack! It is a bit like life. Sometimes we see just little bits of beauty shining through. The beautifulness is still there, just waiting for us to see it at the right time. For our loved ones who have passed away, they have seen and are enjoying the beautifulness right now. One day we will join them too! It will be such a beautiful sunrise to the next  part of our lives!

It is nearly the end of Autumn, and then we will be starting Wintertime. Winter is not my favourite season! I am not too keen on the colder temperatures! But...every season has delightful things in it. Days and evenings seem cosier and warming with a heater on in the Winter. Smiles on the faces of our loved ones seem to be extra sunnier in Wintertime, to go against the coldness of the air. Hot toast is even more yummier to eat! Having a nice hot water and warming up shower in Winter is very nice.
There are great things in each season, and of course love lives on through each moment of each day of each month of the year. Love gives us strength when we don't think we have strength. It encourages us every day!

Mum is lovely and sometimes buys me bunches of roses! They are very special for me to enjoy looking at throughout the day. I used to feel a little sad when flowers withered and looked tired. But now, I have done a complete reversal! All of a sudden, I started looking at them differently, and they are such a beautiful sight! They may be a bit tired, but the scent that they perfume the room with is very lovely! I don't know if it unusual
and it is  just the roses that Mum buys, but the scent is more nicer when they have withered than when Mum first buys them! We all get tired. We may feel a bit withered. But that is only on the outside! Our inside self is covered with beautiful petals!  And these petals come right through us and we can bring a nice scent to our loved ones and those we are in touch with each day! Thankyou so much for your special perfume and fragrance that you bring to the world!
