Dad did a “DoorDash” order today. We usually order our groceries from Coles Online each week, but there are some particular items and brands that Dad likes from Aldi, so he uses DoorDash to get them delivered. We also needed to get a pack of “Frozen cut beans” because they are “ out of stock” at Coles at the moment! Dad likes the strawberry jam from Aldi, for his toast. The smell of fresh toast is lovely first thing in the morning! It has a nice toasted aroma that fills the air, just as fresh baked bread has a very nice aroma also. There are often many food smells that are uniquely nice. I have lovely memories of coming home from Primary school when I was young, and as soon as I walked in I could smell Mum’s crockpot that was stewing up a nice casserole. Mum and I also used to sometimes cook peanut butter biscuits for her to take for the morning tea of a Craft Group that she attended, but at times the kitchen felt a bit “too much peanut buttery” whilst the biscuits were cooking!
Through our words and actions,may we also be a lovely aroma of our loving Lord’s love wherever we are or whatever we are doing. May His love shine through us❤️
