My grandpa’s red roses are flowering in our side garden! They are pretty! They have grown from rose cuttings that he gave to Dad many, many years ago from his backyard. They flower each year. Dad picked some of them and put them in a vase near where i am in the living room. The scent of them is so  very beautiful!

A smile, an encouraging word or a caring action brings fragrance to the world, and to the daily lives of others! Sharing the Lord’s love through our words and actions is the best perfume of all! 🌹❤️

Precious Moments art is very lovely! The artwork is calming and gentle! It can often make us smile when we look at it.

We are precious to the Lord! He is the Good Shepherd and we are His sheep. Just as a shepherd watches and looks after their sheep,so does our loving Lord. May we rest in His love ❤️

I often order need to order medical items from an online medical supplies store. When the items are delivered, there is always a receipt sheet of paper that lists what i bought and how they cost. The sheet though is coloured bright yellow! But that is good because you don’t  miss seeing the sheet! A yellow piece of paper stands out when opening the box of  delivered items!

The loving Lord’s love stands out for us just like the yellow sheet! As He “ delivers” a new day by sending a sunrise,His love is constantly with us however we are feeling and whatever is happening in our lives that day. It gives yellow warmth to our spirit❤️

There are so many sophisticated eye machines that are now used when going for an eye test! The machines are very informative for eye ophthalmologists and optometrists when checking eye health. They can help to pick up many eye conditions.

The eyes of our  loving Lord Jesus and loving Heavenly Father are a million times better than the eye machines. They look at us in love, and understand how we feel. We are never alone as we are always under His  care❤️

One day when Dad was working at the  Bank in the City, he went for a walk in the Fitzroy Gardens on his lunch break. The gardener  there was doing some pruning and throwing out some sprigs of a pretty orange plant. Dad decided to “ rescue” some of these sprigs and see they would go in our own backyard! They took so well…and we are still getting lovely orange  flowers! I have  never known though what they were called! Dad had taken a photo of them,so I put the photo into the “ plant identifier” website… and discovered that they are called “ bush lillies”!

I was having fun the other day with the photo of the bush lilies and applying effects to it! I like how the watercolour affect turned out!

Our Lord is the Mighty watercolour Artist! He paints the skies each day! With each flower that blooms, we see the touch of His colourful paint brush! And He  has given us millions of colours and shades of colours to see each day! We will always praise the Master Painter!

Llamas are such funny animals! They make me smile  when I see pictures of them as they always seem to be smiling! Perhaps though if I was actually with one, they would not seem so happy, particularly if they were hungry!

Our loving Lord Who is  the Creator of all things made llamas! He has given them special roles to play on our planet. Though we often may not feel like smiling like a llama does, we can look upwards with wonderful encouraging hope that one day we will see the smiling, tender  face of our loving Lord Jesus and the warmth of that will bring us joy eternally ❤️

There was a song that was in the Doctor Doolittle film, called “ Talk to the animals” and it was all about talking with animals! The first  verse is  :

“ If I could talk to the animals, just imagine it

Chattin' with a chimp in chimpanzee

Imagine talking to a tiger, chatting with a cheetah

What a neat achievement it would be!”

It would be fun to talk with animals! I wonder what we would chat about?!

Our loving Lord made every animal! That is so very great! It is another special expression of His wonderful creativity! The animal species are so very varied, have so many sizes, and they all have a role to play and a place in our world! Let us praise our Lord, the wonderful and powerful Creator of all things! ❤

People who live or work in some of the offices and home buildings in the City area have such lovely views of the City and surrounding areas through the windows! They are so high up in the air! On a sunny day, the views would be so very nice!

Our loving Lord looks over His world that He created, all through the day and night! It is especially encouraging though to know that even more than that He watches tenderly over each one  of us and cares about what we are going through that day! His loving eyes are upon us. He knows…He cares…He loves❤️

Recently  it was  “International Chess Day”! Chess players from all around the world celebrated  by playing a chess game on the day! When I was thinking about chess, the letters can represent our Lord’s love for us!

Christ died  on a

Cross, then rose again and is now in

Heaven.His love is

Eternal and He is our

Saviour. He was

Sent to save us all!

I will always know the ingredients for a Big Mac! There was a campaign when I was very young, that said if you could recite the jingle containing the ingredients you could get a free one if you bought another one! We got a free one for Dad to have as I learnt the jingle!

The golden arch in the shape of an M is recognisable all around the world that there is McDonalds there! But, the symbol that will  endure eternally is the extra special symbol of the cross ❤️It is the most important symbol forever! It is also not just a symbol. It is where our loving Lord died for us all ❤

I saw these  rabbit pictures the other day and thought that they  looked cute! The rabbit is carrying a basket of  lettuce, a bunch of carrots and also a huge carrot! They will enjoy eating these when they get home! Our Loving Lord sends sunshine and rain to make the plants in the gardens and on farms grow, for us to enjoy eating the fruit and vegetables. There are lots of varieties of fruit and vegetables and He has designed each one to have their own special taste, look, size, shape and colour! We have so much to give thanks and praise for to our Lord who provides food for our bodies, as well as His tremendous love!

We have had some very cold days lately! I didn’t like seeing the weather app I have on my IPad saying that it was 7 degrees currently but that it really feels like 2 degrees! In the midst of the cold weather, we can take encouragement and comfort that are in the warmth of our Loving Lord’s love ❤️His love is like sunshine shining on our hearts inside. That sunshine gets mixed with the tears of pain we sometimes have and turns it into a rainbow 🌈❤️He loves us all very much!

I have a card near where I use my iPad which has  a verse that a  friend wrote to me on my last birthday. The verse says

“The Peace of the Father of joy

The Peace of the Christ of hope

The Peace of the Spirit of grace

The peace of all peace be yours always”

I think that the verse is nice. May we find rest in His loving peace ❤️

Our Loving Lord has given us so many beautiful colours to enjoy! The shades of each colour are very lovely! The shades of colors remind me of the richness of His love! It is like a multicoloured jewel where each side is another facet of His love! His love shines for us when we are in pain, when we feeling glad, when  we are cheerful, when we are sad, when we are tired! His love endures forever and ever! Colours sing praises and thanks to Him!

Sunrises and Sunsets are often very beautiful! The colours of the skies are very pretty! When we look outside and see them, they seem to bring a burst of encouragement! The colours often look as if they have been painted, and the artwork of the skies is given to us to enjoy! No words need to be said. Our Loving Lord says through the pretty skies : “ I love you, my love is richer, deeper and more beautiful than a thousand sunsets and sunrises... this is just a little reminder”

The football season is going well!  There are many people that  like to cheer on their favourite football team, whether they are watching it live at the game, or watching it at home on the tv, or listening to the match being described on the radio! It gets exciting when one team leads by only a few points and there are only a couple of minutes left in the match! May we also “ cheer on” those we see each day or are in contact with by phone or mail. Caring loving kindness is like sunshine on a cloudy day! May we shine His Sonshine love!

Sunday 7 March 2021

Happy Autumn! Pumpkins are sometimes associated with Autumn. It is a lovely season to enjoy eating pumpkin soup!

Pumpkins are often heavy, and sometimes our  cares and pain feel heavy on us too. Our Loving Lord wants to share the load with us. He  has His arm underneath to help us endure and cope. He has very loving and safe hands ❤️

It is now officially Autumn but i think though that we will continue to have warm weather for a little while! I send sunshine smiles to you all! 😀😀😀 Our loving Lord, who is the Son of God, send His Son-shine into our lives each and every day whatever the weather! When we are in pain, or feeling a little fearful, or anxious, or are weary, He especially sends a “ sun ray” of His love to shine upon our inside spirit to remind us that He cares and is looking after us.

We received an email from Woolworths the other day, and it’s focus was on the stone fruit that they sell. Stone fruit is yummy! One of the recipes was for : “Plum yoghurt ice blocks”! It is a nice fruity ice cream block that it made in icy block moulds! It would be nice and cold to eat on a hot day! The ingredients are: “ 3 large red plums, pitted

2/3 cup 100% pure coconut water

          1/3 cup coconut yoghurt”

It is interesting that you can now buy coconut water and coconut yoghurt! The food and drink makers are continually making new foods and drinks for us to  have!

Coconuts are quite odd fruit! They are round shaped, with a rough “hairy”  brown outer covering but also a  nice white soft inside! Sometimes, it is a little bit like life! We may feel like our outside has been a bit battered from pain, health or worries, but inside we feel a bit “ fragile” and “ sensitive” inside. May we be ever conscious of how our loved ones and those we are in contact with are feeling, and seek to show them loving concern and care. A little smile and a “ thinking of you” really brings lots of loving  encouragement!
