Dad is so funny! Today the temperature reached 31 degrees. Dad had only one ripe banana left to eat, but also had other bananas that were unripe. He decided that he would put them in our sunroom in the warmth of the sunshine to ripen them. It gets hot in our sunroom on a warm day, so he thought it would help. But he did this without telling me! Putting them in the sunroom was NOT a wise decision at all, in a 32 degree day! All of a sudden Dad appeared where I was sitting in the living room with quite a “sheepish” look on his face! Yes, the banana skins had turned completely black! The bananas had turned into “banana fritters!” We both had a big laugh over it!
I was thinking about bananas and that they have skins. It is a bit like us. It is what that is inside that is our true self. Our loving and beautiful Lord Jesus and loving Heavenly Father looks at our inside not how we look. They care for us who we truly are inside ❤️May our inner hearts and minds always live for them each and every day.
