Poinsettias are very nice Christmas flowers! I was reading the other day why poinsettias are associated with Christmas. “ The shape of the poinsettia flower and leaves are sometimes thought as a symbol of the Star of Bethlehem which led the Wise Men to Jesus. The red colored leaves symbolize the blood of Christ. The white leaves represent his purity” They such vibrant joyful -looking flowers! May the joy of this Christmastime being encouragement to you both now and throughout all the year! ❤️πππ

It will soon be Christmas Day! There will be so very, very many mince pies eaten over the next couple of weeks! The little foil tin cases that many mince pies come in could be moulded into a suit of armour, that could then be worn if you need to go outdoors in the midst of a hailstorm! Sometimes we may feel like we are “ battling” a little bit with our health, tiredness and pain. May we remember that we have an “ armour of love” on! Love from our loving Lord Jesus, love from our loved family and friends, and love that beats from inside, as regular as a heart beat ❤️πππππ§‘
I was reading something on the Internet the other day, and the word “sublime” was used. It sounds such a grand and lofty word! It evokes pictures of whiteness and gold! It is not a word that I would use when just chatting with someone!
The most important, most nicest and most special words in the whole wide world are : “ I love you”! Love sustains us, encourages us, comforts us, and gives us the strength we need to face each hour and day! May we always tell out loved ones that we love them! ❤️ππππ
I have a feeling that Dad has done this before also! He has been growing in little pots zucchini plants from seeds, and now that they have started to sprout, he wanted to transfer them over from the pots to the ground to grow. He went and did some gardening outside after tea, and I think that he must have been clearing around the area where he planted the seeds as he was using his shears also. After transplanting the zucchini plants shoots , he decided to then come indoors. But he couldn’t find his pair of shears anywhere to put away! He searched all over the garden trying to find them! He then just had to “ give up” searching and come indoors ! The next day, he walked through our back door...and straightaway saw the shears on the pegs container! He doesn’t know why he placed them there or why he didn’t see that they were there the previous night!
We are always growing as we live our day by day lives in this world. However young or old we are, we are continuing to learn new things every day, and are discovering more things. Just talking to other people, keeps us growing inside. When the time comes for us to be “ transplanted” ( like zucchini plants) to our Heavenly home, we have a very loving Gardener Heavenly Father who will so very lovingly and caringly take us to His home ❤️

I like the quote saying: “ To the world you were one, but to me you were the world” . Our loved ones are so very, very precious and special to us, both those who remain with us as well as those who have passed away ❤️ You are all such very uniquely special and lovely people! You are very muchly loved by your loved ones, and are so very precious to our loving Lord and Saviour Jesus!
I think that this elephant picture is so cute! The elephant has his trunk out to eat an apple!
Elephants have very good memories!
May we too take delight in remembering happy past time, enjoy experiencing whatever the present day holds, and look into the future with hope, encouraged that we are kept safe in our Loving Lord’s loving care. He never ever forgets us❤️ππ§‘
Scones are a comfort food associated with morning or afternoon tea! If there was a survey on “ classic foods” that a morning / afternoon tea contains, scones would be high up on the list of foods chosen! May we “spread” love very thickly on the lives of our loved ones and the people we see each day , just like jam and cream ! There are a number of jam varieties, so there also is a great variety of ways to express loving care and kindness to others ❤️ππππ𧑠May you enjoy eating a scone and spreading love during this week! ❤️
This was from a Chirpings that I wrote at the start of October
Today is the first day of the new month! We wonder what each new day of the month will hold. The first few letters of the month is the same as an Octopus, which has a lot of legs! May we reach out to others with our two hands to show loving care and kindness in what we say and what we do. A “thinking of you” message in spoken or written words brings much encouragement to the heart of another person! Some people when they have been sick in hospital have found that when a visitor has held their hands, it has brought comfort to them. May we always know that we are held tightly in the loving hands of our loving Lord Jesus ❤️πππ His pierced hands are beautiful!

Mum is very good at Sudoku puzzles ! She is very clever how she works them out! She has a Sudoku magazine /book that is called : “ One a Day”. There are 365 sudoku puzzles in the book, one for each day of the year! She tries though to do more than one a day! Our loving Lord Jesus and Loving Heavenly Father loves and cares for us 365 days a year, and 24 hours! They are always watching over us, seeing our tears, our smiles, our sighs, our pain and our joys. May we rest in Their loving tender care, knowing that we are looked after each step of the day in our lives here and eternally ❤️π§‘πππ

A friend of ours was recently visiting Malta and sent us a postcard whilst he was away. The design on the Maltese stamps were “ traditional floor tile
patterns”. I thought that was an uniquely different design to have on a stamp. It looked very ornate! Through our lives, we enjoy the seasonal “pattern” of Summer, Autumn, Winter and Springtime through the years. The order and continual constant change of the seasons, keeps going on and on. The love of our Loving Lord is also constant. Through each day, each season, all circumstances and in every situation whatever is happening in our lives, His love for us remains, and is the strength that we need for each day❤️❤️ Rest in His love π❤️ππ§‘πππMonday, 3 September 2018
Butterflies are so very pretty! They appear in such a wide variety of colours and patterns! They are often called “ flutter-bys” also, which is a play on the word. They are very special insects that bring beauty into the world, though sadly they only live for such a short while. Our beautiful and loving Lord, have painted a special design on each of them. He cares about us so very tenderly and lovingly, and wants to paint a very special and colourful design on the canvas of our lives also π❤️πππ§‘π¦π¦π¦

This coming Friday is Daffodil Day which supports the Cancer Council. Daffodils are very special , joyful flowers ! They bring with them the message of Hope. Just looking at them brings joy to our day! May we all be encouraged as we look at a real life daffodil or a picture of them, and look upward just like a daffodil does ππ

I have two of the most funniest dolls I’ve ever known or seen that are on the shelf near where I spend a lot of my day! They make me smile every time I look at them! They are not “ pretty” according to the world’s standard definition, but to me they are beautiful! They have pink skin, purple and pink hair, a pink nose, big blue eyes and very wide open mouths! Each part of them also reminds me of things! Their pink skin colour reminds me that no matter what our skin colour is we are loved by loving Lord, are all precious in His sight, and our lives are very valued! He died for us all! Their big blue eyes remind me to look at others through “ love eyes” and to try to be open to “ see” how they may be feeling. Their wide open mouths encourage me to be thankful, to express thanks and to speak or write words to show that I care. Their coloured hair, reminds me that the Lord said He knows every strand of our hair! ( And it doesn’t matter if we have pink, purple or blue hair !)

Life is like a shopping trolley! We have fruit in the trolley, which is the love of our beautiful loving Lord and of our loved and loving family and friends. We have chocolate biscuits, which is the fun occasions and events that happen at times through our lives. There is a bottle of milk, which is when we learning new things, just like milk helps kids in their growth as they are progressing through childhood. A loaf of bread is in the trolley also! Bread is the ordinary, everyday things that occur in a day, BUT even with these everyday things, they are so often spread thick with butter and jam, which is the little blessings that we enjoy as they pop up though the day, especially if we take the time to look with our heart-eyes and see them. Butter is made from milk and cream. It needs to be beaten and churned to make butter. We sometimes also feel a bit “ battered” in our own lives! Live holds times of pain, weariness, and harder times. We endure through it! May your shopping trolley consist of many colourful packaged products, to reflect the everyday beauty of life! ❤️
