Happy Australia Day for January 26th! I hope that you have a great “Aussie Day”! Perhaps you may like to have a meat pie with lots of sauce on it, a Alice of pavlova, a lamington, an Anzac biscuit, and a cup of tea with a vegemite flavour! We live in a very scenic country! There are so many, many special landscape and natural features in every state of our country! From rainforests, to the desert, to seaside, to parks, to beaches, and  cities full of shops, to country towns with just one store and a post office. More than that though, Australia is made of millions of people! Every person is so very special! ❤️We all breathe, sleep, eat and talk, and have a specialness to give out to the world every day! May we appreciate, be thankful for and enjoy the beauty in every person we know, or who we meet, each and every day! Thankyou very much for being you! ❤️πŸ’–πŸ’œπŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’

I saw this picture of grevillea on the Internet the other day. I thought that it was so very pretty and beautiful! Grevilleas are the flowers associated with Dementia. I send lots and lots of hugs to every beautiful and lovely one  who has Dementia or is lovingly caring for those who have Dementia. A very special flower for very special people. They are held tightly in the palm of our Loving Lord’s hand, close to His heart.

We were remembering on New Years Day about past years when I was younger, and we were down at McRae holidaying at the start of the New Years. Mum, Dad and I have special memories of spending time in the Park there, and after having our own bbq /picnic lunch, watching many other families also coming to have their own bbq meals on the grills also. I can still  remember the appetising smell of sausages and chops cooking on the bbq πŸ˜€Aromas bring back happy memories of past special times. Our lives are perfumed each day with the loving care of our family. May we bring a comforting, encouraging and above all loving aroma into the lives and days of all whom  we are with that day ❤️

I thought that this photo of the Fire wave in the Valley of Fire State Park in Las Vegas was  quite amazing and beautifully scenic! It looks so special! Our loving Lord has given us such special natural landscapes for us to enjoy seeing! I hadn't heard of the Fire Wave Valley before, and just happened to see a picture of it the other day on the Internet. May we give praise and thanks to our loving Creator God! ❤️

I received a Christmas card during the last week and the person who sent it hand wrote this special message on it : “ May you  have a tableful of
blessings with Jesus as the Centrepiece” I thought that was very nice! I hope that each of you have a very lovely Christmastime, resting and rejoicing in the loving care of our loving and beautiful Lord! ❤️πŸ’–πŸ’œ

Poinsettias are very nice Christmas flowers! I was reading the other day why poinsettias are associated with Christmas. “ The  shape of the poinsettia flower and leaves are sometimes thought as a symbol of the Star of Bethlehem which led the Wise Men to Jesus. The red colored leaves symbolize the blood of Christ. The white leaves represent his purity” They such vibrant  joyful -looking flowers! May the joy of this Christmastime being encouragement to you both now and throughout all the year! ❤️πŸ’–πŸ’πŸ’›

It will soon be Christmas Day! There will be so very, very many mince pies eaten over the next couple of  weeks! The little foil tin cases that many mince pies come in could be moulded into a suit of armour, that could then be worn if you need to go outdoors in the midst of a hailstorm! Sometimes we may feel like we are “ battling” a little bit with our health, tiredness and pain. May we remember that we have an “ armour of love” on! Love from our loving Lord Jesus, love from our loved family and friends, and love that beats from inside, as regular as a heart beat ❤️πŸ’–πŸ’šπŸ’œπŸ’™πŸ§‘

I was reading something on the Internet the other  day, and the word “sublime” was used. It sounds such a grand and lofty word! It evokes pictures of whiteness and gold! It is not a word that I would use when just chatting with someone!
The most important, most nicest and most special  words in the whole wide world are : “ I love you”! Love sustains us, encourages us, comforts us, and gives us the strength we need to face each hour and day! May we always tell out loved ones that we love  them! ❤️πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ’–

I have a feeling that Dad has done this before also!  He has been growing in little pots  zucchini plants from seeds, and now that they have started to sprout, he wanted to transfer them over from the pots  to the ground to grow. He went and did some gardening outside after tea, and I think that he must have been clearing around the area where he planted the seeds as he was using his shears also. After transplanting the zucchini plants shoots , he decided to then come indoors. But he couldn’t find his pair of shears anywhere to put  away! He searched all over the garden trying to find them! He then just had to “ give up” searching and come indoors ! The next day, he walked through our back door...and straightaway saw the shears on the pegs container! He doesn’t know why he placed them there or why he didn’t see that they were there the previous night!
We are always growing as we live our day by day lives in this world. However young or old we are, we are continuing to learn new things every day, and are discovering more things. Just talking to other people, keeps us growing inside. When the time comes for us to be “ transplanted” ( like zucchini plants) to our Heavenly home, we have a very loving  Gardener Heavenly Father who will so very lovingly and caringly take us to His home ❤️

I like the quote saying:  “ To the world you were one, but to me you were the world” . Our loved ones are so very, very precious and special to us, both those who remain with us as well as those who have passed away ❤️ You are all such very uniquely  special and lovely people! You are very muchly loved by your loved ones, and are so very precious to our loving Lord and Saviour Jesus!

I think that this elephant picture is so cute! The elephant has his trunk out to eat an apple!
Elephants have very good memories!

May we too take delight in remembering happy past time, enjoy experiencing whatever the present day holds, and look into the future with hope, encouraged that we are kept safe in our Loving Lord’s loving care.  He never ever forgets us❤️πŸ’–πŸ§‘

Scones are a comfort food associated with  morning or afternoon tea! If there was a survey on “ classic foods”  that a morning / afternoon tea contains, scones would be high up on the list of foods chosen! May we “spread” love very thickly on the lives of our loved ones and the people we see each day , just like jam and cream ! There are a number of jam varieties, so there also is a great variety of ways to express loving care and kindness to others ❤️πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’–πŸ’›πŸ§‘ May you enjoy eating a scone and spreading love during this week! ❤️

This was from a Chirpings that I wrote at the start of October
Today is the first day of the new month! We wonder what each new day of the month will hold. The first few letters of the month is the same as an Octopus, which has a lot of legs! May we reach out to others  with our two hands to show loving care and kindness in what we say and what we do. A “thinking of you” message in spoken or written words brings much encouragement to the heart of another person! Some people when they have been  sick in hospital  have found that when a visitor has held their hands, it has brought comfort to them. May we always know that we are held tightly in the loving hands of our loving Lord Jesus ❤️πŸ’–πŸ’šπŸ’› His pierced hands are beautiful!

Mum is very good at Sudoku puzzles ! She is very clever how she works them out! She has a Sudoku magazine /book that is called : “ One a Day”. There are 365 sudoku puzzles in the book, one for each day of the year! She tries though to do more than one a day! Our loving Lord Jesus and Loving Heavenly Father loves and cares for us 365 days a year, and 24 hours! They are always watching over us, seeing our tears, our smiles, our sighs, our pain and our joys. May we  rest in Their loving tender care, knowing that we are looked after each step of  the day in our lives here and eternally ❤️πŸ§‘πŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™
